Dynamic Output Feedback Controller Design for a Class of Uncertain Neutral Systems with Input Delay1

In this paper, a design problem of dynamic output feedback controller for asymptotic stabilization of a class of uncertain neutral systems with input delay has been investigated. A criterion for the existence of such controllers is derived based on the LMI (linear matrix inequality) approach combined with the Lyapunov method. A parameterized characterization of the controllers is given in terms of the feasible solutions to the certain LMIs, which can be solved by various convex optimization algorithms. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the availability of the proposed results. c © 2006 IIC. All rights reserved.
